I have been going to candies pretty regularly the last several years, dropped a fair amount of cash in the place. I no longer drink alcohol because it messes with my health, but normally I will have coffee or soda. Tonight I went in to meet with friends, I had just eaten some spicy food and it was hitting my stomach wrong so I was not interested in drinking anything. I was just going to sit with my friends and tip the dancers, it's a strip club after all. Then the bartender Valerie Karnes comes up and asks me what I am having (normally you have to go find the bartender in order to get anything to drink). So I told her I was not going to have anything, I just wanted to hang with my friends. Who by the way were both drinking and had planned to continue doing so, lets just say they drop allot of cash on both drinks and dancers, I would guess at least a couple hundred or more a week. So the bar tender continues to get in my face telling me I either need to order a drink or give her three dollars. I asked her what made her think I was just going to give her three dollars, and she at that point told me I needed to leave. So I and my two friends all left, and we will not be returning so long as Valerie Karnes is still employed there. This young person (lady does not fit her) is not doing Hard Candy's Gentlemen's Club any favors by being employed there. She is rude, vindictive, looks unclean and without grooming skills, and not someone I would want touching any drinks or food I am being served. I am trying to contact the owners and managers, and in time I will. They will loose a few good customers over this, word of mouth is a huge thing. As a long time customer, I am very disappointed. The place has really gone downhill. view short comment
